Valerian Root has been used to treat insomnia since ancient times. It is a calming and grounding essential oil with extremely effective.

Aromatherapy can be extremely effective in treating insomnia and Lavender or Chamomile tend to be the essential oils that most people choose to help remedy their sleep problems. There is however another 'unsung' hero that you may like to try.

Valerian Root has been used to treat insomnia since ancient times. It can help to calm and relax the nervous system and can be beneficial for anxiety, stress, depression, restlessness, insomnia and for helping people cope with emotional trauma and tension. It is a calming and grounding essential oil with extremely effective tranquilising properties.

Is the stress of exams keeping you awake at night? Adequate sleep is crucial to proper brain function – no less so than air, water, and food – but unfortunay stress and sleep deprivation tend to go hand in hand.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with valerian root as they were i take xanax and valium, my doctor said that i could safely take valarian root as a sub Valium vs Xanax for sleep: which one works better?.

I don't know I was wondering the same thing I am wanted to get off of Xanax been on it for a few years now and wanting to start a family but not on Xanax lol I guess I just have to ask my doctor of a natural way or something else cus I want to breast feed Loading.

i have used "relax & sleep" which contains Valerian root and chamomile sometimes when i don't want take Xanax and it has helped calm my anxiety so i think Valerian root will work for you. Loading. It can help relax your central nervous system and relax you so i can see how it can help with anxiety. I don't want to get addicted to Xanax either thus my always alternating it with natural remedies. I have used Valerian root before, but it was mainly to help my insomnia.
