I don't use Valium, but I do sometimes use Xanax when I'm going to a certain place where I know I can't use the bathroom (places like that.

You name the test or the med and I've tried it. I went ahead and took the next dose within a few hours the itching was worse.my lips were swollen, hands so swollen I couldn't even get my rings off. Hopefully, if I've done this right this time it will enter the site this time, I'd hate to have to retype this/ It has been interesting to read other stories and info. I watched my Mom take Valium as many women did back then to deal with issues and become addicted to it I don't want to do that so I guess this has been a VERY long explanation as to why I don't see the Valium as my long term solution BUT will say it certainly has its place in helping others.
I spoke to my GP who prescribed me some 2mg pills of Valium (diazepam). She said to take 2 on the day, one in the morning and one before.
The leaflet in the box is most probably referring to phobias that affect everyday life ( I'm assuming you don't fly several times per week) but once or twice a year for the purpose of holidays will not harm you nor get you addicted.
Sent you a PM.
And one brave day il face this head on and go on a course! ( hopefully soon?) Good luck Lynne.
Why you may ask?
And to put it into context, over 3 billion people fly annually. That's nearly half the worlds population ( although many of them many times).
Ron Wyden (D-Oregon), Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Finance, needing a Valium for the confirmation hearing of Steven.
Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kansas) cracks a joke about Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Oregon), Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Finance, needing a Valium for the confirmation hearing of Steven Mnuchin, President-Elect's nominee for Secretary of Treasury. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) took offense at the "tone" Sen. Roberts set. From Thursday's Senate hearing: SEN. PAT ROBERTS (R-KS): Sen. Wyden, I've got a Valium pill here that you might want to take before the second round. Just a suggestion. SEN. RON WYDEN (D-OR), SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE RANKING MEMBER: Just another suggestion: We've got a lot of colleagues waiting; if you can brief, that would be helpful. ROBERTS: I'm going to be very brief. Mr. Mnuchin from the distinguished Ranking Member's remarks, I understand you were in charge of the Great Recession -- SEN. SHERROD BROWN (D-OH): Mr. Chairman, Mr. Chairman I hope that that comment about Valium doesn't set the tone for 2017 in this committee. I just -- I like Senator Roberts, but I just can't believe he would say that to the distinguished Senator from Oregon. ROBERTS: I said that to the president of the United States at one point. BROWN: Perhaps you did. But I would hope that that doesn't set the tone for the session today. ROBERTS: It was -- ROBERTS: I have the time. BROWN: This is just outrageous. ROBERTS: I don't know about outrageous, but I think just a little pinprick of humor might have this committee this from time to time. Mnuchin delivers his opening statement before the Senate Finance Committee at the confirmation hearing for him to become Secretary of the Treasury:
Health Psychol. 1991;10(5):317-22. An investigation of cognitive-behavior therapy combined with oral valium for children undergoing painful medical.
In previous research, a cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) package was found to be effective in reducing children's distress associated with the painful medical procedures of bone marrow aspirations (BMAs) and lumbar punctures (LPs). Orally administered Valium demonstrated less effectiveness but was helpful in reducing behavioral distress before the medical procedure. In the present study, we investigated whether the combination of oral Valium and CBT would result in increased efficacy of the CBT. Dependent variables included observed behavioral distress, self-reported fear and pain, and pulse rate. Results failed to support the value of such a combination but did provide additional evidence in regard to the effectiveness of the CBT. Eighty-three subjects were randomly assigned to receive either CBT or CBT plus Valium while undergoing either a BMA or an LP. The need for more potent medical interventions for some children is discussed.
